I know once again what it means to be free,
to be drowning in wave after wave of your mercy,
drunk on the joy of your salvation,
feeling the wonder of being your creation,

I am the climber that's finally reached the peak,
a composer who found the perfect pitch,
the scientist with the illusive cure,
a muddy stream suddenly made pure.

See I was the bound Pharisee,
But by HIs grace I'm free.

  1. I looked on Google, with the first verse, to see if this is original, and it seems original.
Now, I am in a bit of a pickle. You see, I have blogged a bit about the whole Pharisee-Grace-Freedom thing, on my new blog, and I found that this topic is mostly absent in the instances that people would have written about related issues.
And now here is this post. Hmm ... I've clicked "interesting" above. :o) I would have asked for more information, but when people arrive at Grace, they probably don't want to be questioned.

Or, more-likely, I am reading too much into this. :-D

  2. Boo 27th. Of course it's original. She's genius like that. :)

And my "trying to find God" is nowhere close to hers. Perhaps I am still partly Pharisee. :P

  3. This sunday morning i can agree to;
'I know once again what it means to be free,
to be drowning in wave after wave of your mercy,
drunk on the joy of your salvation,'

i think i was meant to go to church and come round to this page straight after..everything happens for a reason

Too bad the man upstairs isn't always on my appointment list.
